Meet Canela—the owner & pulse of Canela Vintage

 

Inspiration comes from her everyday experiences, her love of music, and her first job at Hot Topic. Canela knew she wanted to lead with sustainability, honoring preexisting fashion. Vibrant pops of color from her childhood on her Nana's ranch in Díaz Ordaz, combined with her keen eye for detail, shine through in the hand-curated collection at Canela Vintage. Her shop embodies a cool, whimsical (whimsy-cool?) 'your older sister’s closet' vibe, perfectly blending nostalgia with unique style.

Her favorite spots in San Antonio include SINGHS on St. Mary’s and Taco Palenque. For coffee, she loves Quick Draw Coffee, Archie’s, or Vela Coffee. She also enjoys lending a hand with Texas Public Radio’s Worth Repeating podcast from time to time — it’s a great show and Tori rocks!

Canela Vintage proudly partners with Dress for Success San Antonio, a nonprofit organization that 'empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to help women thrive in work and in life' (Dress for Success). Canela Vintage is currently a donor and advocates as an ambassador for this meaningful cause.
